Online Mediation

Online mediation offers a flexible, accessible way to resolve conflict without the need to meet in person. It allows people to participate from their own home or workplace, making the process more convenient while still being just as effective as face-to-face mediation.

I provide professional online mediation services designed to support clear communication, reduce stress, and help people reach practical, workable outcomes.

Video Call Meeting
How Online Mediation Works

Online mediation is conducted via secure video conferencing. Sessions are structured, confidential, and guided in the same way as in-person mediation. Everyone involved has the opportunity to speak, be heard, and participate fully in the process.

Before the mediation, I’ll explain how everything works and make sure you feel comfortable with the technology. If needed, individual pre-mediation conversations can also be held online.

The Benefits of Online Mediation

Online mediation can be particularly helpful when:

  • Parties are in different locations

  • Travel or time constraints make in-person meetings difficult

  • Emotions are high and a neutral, familiar environment feels safer

  • A quicker resolution is needed

Some of the key benefits include:

  • Greater flexibility with scheduling

  • Reduced costs and travel time

  • A calm, structured environment

  • Access to professional mediation from anywhere

A Supportive, Professional Approach

My role is to remain neutral while guiding the conversation in a constructive way. I focus on helping people communicate clearly, understand different perspectives, and work toward outcomes that feel realistic and sustainable.

Whether you’re based locally or elsewhere in Australia, online mediation provides a practical way to move forward with confidence.

1

Free 30 min
Initial Discovery Call

To begin the online mediation process submit our booking form for a free 30-minute information and discovery call.

During this call, we will discuss a brief description of the issues in dispute and any concerns you would like to address during mediation.

Providing this information in advance helps us understand your situation and prepare for a productive intake session.

2

Scheduled
Intake Session

The intake session is a private meeting between you and me, without the other party present. This session gives me the opportunity to gain a clearer understanding of your situation and to answer any questions you may have. I will also help you prepare for the upcoming joint session, so you feel ready and supported to participate effectively.

During the intake session, I will assess whether online mediation is the most suitable approach for your circumstances.

The other party will also be invited to attend their own private intake session.

3

Scheduled Mediation

If online mediation is appropriate, the next step is to schedule a joint session with you and the other party. I’ll work with both of you to arrange a time that suits everyone, offering flexibility to accommodate different schedules.

The joint mediation session is conducted via secure online video or telephone conference and brings together both parties with me to discuss the issues in a structured and respectful way. Where helpful, I can also facilitate shuttle mediation via Zoom. This means you don’t need to speak directly with your ex-partner during the session — instead, I move between separate virtual breakout rooms.

This joint session is the core of the online mediation process. My role is to guide the conversation, support clear communication, and help both of you work towards practical, mutually acceptable outcomes.

Book a complimentary 30-minute Consultation Session to discuss how I can best assist you with your online mediation.
